The Leasing Agent is the property's first impression and will have primary duties to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their portfolio, secure lease agreements from qualified persons and report weekly details to the owners. A Leasing Agent is service oriented and strives to make current residents and perspective residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Present and represent yourself in accordance with company policies and procedures. Have knowledge and familiarity with Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to rental properties.
- Maintain a professional, but friendly atmosphere in the management office and throughout your daily encounters
- Quickly and thoroughly return incoming inquires
- Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call professionally
- Greet prospective residents, determine their needs and preferences, and professionally present the potential rental property
- Handle property advertising
- Accurately and promptly complete all paperwork related to perspective applications and leases
- Accept rents and deposits
Qualifications:
- Positions requires good leasing and closing skills and have at least 1 year of leasing experience
- Strong Rent Collections and Delinquency focus
- Person must be able to provide custom reporting
- Must have at least 1 year Experience with Property Management Software Appfolio
- Prefer at least 3 years of customer service
- Person must be detailed, organized and reliable
- Bi-Lingual highly recommended
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
